The Boathouse concert venue (originally 119 Park Ave, Norfolk, VA) was located on the Elizabeth River directly next to Harbor Park. Operating from 1983 to 2003, it famously hosted major touring rock and alternative acts. However, the venue is no longer there. The original building was severely damaged by Hurricane Isabel in 2003, never reopened, and has since been completely demolished.
